Boško Vučurević was born in 1958 in Novi Sad.
In 1985, he graduated with a degree in Economics from the Faculty of Economics, University of Novi Sad, specializing in Regional Economics – Economic Development. Since graduating, he has consistently pursued further education and training in the field of foreign trade and management in the oil industry, both in Serbia and abroad.
He has accumulated 30 years of work experience in the field of foreign trade in the oil industry, both domestically and internationally, which provides a solid foundation for his ongoing professional development and the potential for improving business outcomes, increasing sales, and profitability in the crude oil and petroleum derivatives sector. He has spent a significant part of his career in executive management positions in the oil industry.
Prior to his role in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Vojvodina, he worked at Naftachem d.o.o. in Sremski Karlovci. He served as the General Director – Retail Control for Local Oil Markets in the Balkan countries at HR Progress, and before that, he was the General Director at Glorys Finance Corporation, overseeing wholesale and retail oil markets in the Balkan countries, as well as managing sales and operational activities within the international framework of the oil industry.
He worked for NS Oil Energy in Novi Sad, Serbia, where he served as the General Director, managing B2B operations within the wholesale oil market, overseeing operational activities, achieving excellent results in developing sales strategies, and maintaining constant collaboration with OMV Serbia, particularly in the area of card sales with consistently increasing traffic.
He also held the position of General Director at EuroPetrol Novi Sad, and the longest period of his career was spent in the Oil Industry of Serbia, NIS-Gazprom Neft, Novi Sad, from 1986 to 2009. During this time, he gained experience in executive management positions within the largest company in Serbia and the region, focusing on foreign trade related to international markets and maintaining ongoing collaboration with companies such as MOL, BP, OMV, Hellenic Petroleum, Dynea, and many others.
He became the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Vojvodina in 2017, and taking over such a significant institution presented a real challenge in his career. He made sure to implement his knowledge and experience gained in the energy sector in an effective way within the chamber’s structure.
He is married and has one son.
