Jelena Čeperković

EBRD, Deputy Head Serbia

Currently serving as EBRD Deputy Head for Serbia, Jelena brings 15 years of experience in finance and international development, with a focus on sustainable infrastructure and environmental sector. Prior to joining EBRD, Jelena worked as an investment consultant in R. J. O’Brien, Chicago-based commodity brokerage firm. Jelena holds a MSc in Project Management from Northwestern University (Chicago, USA). 

The EBRD has invested close to €9 billion in Serbia to date, supporting the private sector, financial institutions, as well as energy and infrastructure projects. Annual investment volume in Serbia reached a new record in 2023 at over €850 million. The Bank is working towards building green, inclusive, and digitalized economies.
